Several entries in the "Innovation" category met with the panel's criteria in December, making smart use of new tools that are becoming more available for journalism, showing the ability of RFE/RL journalists to quickly adapt to new opportunities. One entry, however, was distinctly different than the rest -- due mainly to its creativity and execution, rather than the smart use of tools. This promo, for the Belarus Service's "Zona Svobody" ("Zone of Freedom") talk program that airs three times a week on the "Belsat" satellite network, was produced by the service and Multimedia Department with special thanks to Dragan Milojevic.
