Alexander Lukashuk On The Media Crackdown In Belarus
Over a dozen journalists in Belarus have been detained in recent days in an aggressive attack by the government against independent media. Police have also searched journalists’ offices and their homes, seizing computer equipment and other personal information. Authorities have accused the group of unlawfully obtaining information from the state-run news agency BelTA.
