Malala Yousafzai was shot by the Pakistani Taliban one year ago. On the anniversary of that attack, Radio Mashaal's Abdul Hai Kakar, the journalist who first brought Malala to the world's attention in 2009 as an 11-year old girl who was being deprived of an education by the Taliban, reunites with her in an extensive interview on her life before and after she became a world-renowned campaigner for girls' education, women's rights, and peace in her native Pakistan.
