The L&D Specialist works with the Learning & Development Manager by providing administrative and general HR office support in areas of: Learning & Development/Internship Program. Apart from good business practices,  a sharp eye for detail,  thriving in a busy collaborative environment, being well-organized and working independently while proactively carrying out diverse administrative functions such as communicating effectively with employees and stakeholders at all levels, regarding various training programs ad L&D activities the incumbent works closely with the L&D Manager creating new learning programs and further developing existing programs with a focus on management development ensuring that those programs fit the needs of internal stakeholders and clients. He/she is expected to also have specialist knowledge and competencies in regard to HR database systems. S/he should be able to complete tasks independently and stand-in for the L&D Manager when needed as a substitute.




Substitute Learning & Dev. Manager

  • In the absence of the Learning & Dev. Manager substitutes by carrying out all duties of the Learning & Dev. Manager including delivering training live and on-demand programs using recognized training techniques and tools.
  • Stay current on training design and methodology.
  • Manage and stay organized within existing training budgets.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders regarding employee training needs. Receives delegation in both PeopleSoft and LotusNotes.
  • Creates, submits and approves requisitions and invoices.


Language learning programs in Prague & bureaus

  • Enrolls students, sends information regarding courses, prepares language courses schedule.
  • Monitors costs, attendance, and progress reports. Prepares annual reports.
  • Oversees bureau English programs; includes coordinating with Bureau Admin and teachers, tracks expenses and commitments, and obtains progress reports and attendance monitoring information.
  • Communicates with Bureau Administrators, in connection to their professional development.
  • Prepares annual reports.


Support with statutory training and other professional training

  • Leads orientation in the mandatory and language training for new hires.
  • Registers, maintains records of completion, sends reminders.
  • Books conference rooms. Communicates with lecturers and students.
  • Processes feedback forms.
  • Assists with research on vendors and providers.
  • Works with TalentLMS. Prepares material for online courses in Articulate 360 Tools.  


Record Keeping in HRIS system

Maintains accurate PeopleSoft training records. Prepares Sign-Up sheets for courses.


Internship Program

  • Maintains Internship application database.
  • Prepares ads, communicates with departments.
  • Promotes the ads and the internship program on Social Media (e.g. LinkedIn and YouTube channel) or during the events at the universities.
  • Mentors candidates as necessary.
  • Leads the pre-selection of candidates by conducting initial applicant CV screening and the interview process.
  • Communicates with chosen candidates. Manages the internship and SCAUT application.
  • Prepares Internship Agreements, processes feedback reports, regularly updates and improves the internship program and presents it during different events to potential candidates (e. g. at universities, Career Days, Expos).
  • Supervises L&D Interns


General administrative support to the HR L&D unit

  • Performs various related human resources and general office functions, as requested.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned. Proactively develops and cooperates on various community building projects

At least Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or related field (HR, Education or Industrial/Organizational Psychology.

Work Experience:

At least 3 years in the field of L&D plus a solid grounding in administrative office experience in a business environment.
